Biography

My name is Andrew Thompson, a dual citizen of both the UK and Spain. I grew up for the majority of my life in London before moving to Spain when I was 16. Having lived abroad and coming from a multilingual household, I understand the needs and challenges of young learners in this environment. I started teaching English when I was only 16 years old when I moved to Spain and I have been teaching in Vietnam for almost 7 years now in bilingual schools.

I have been an EAL teacher in primary and taught a range of subjects in secondary schools also. I always aim to make my students feel comfortable and inspire them to learn by establishing a warm, supportive environment where they can reach their potential. I am truly looking forward to joining the Petite Ecole community!
